Electric 3 way ball valve is divided into L-port 3 way electric ball valve and T-port 3 way ball valve electric.The electric L-port 3 way ball valve is used to switch the flow direction of the medium, which can connect two channels perpendicular to each other.The T-port 3 way electric ball valve is used for diverting & mixing of medium and flow direction switching.

The Control Circuit Diagram of 3 Way Electric Ball Valve:
1.A type—On/Off Type with Source Indicator Signal
The electric 3 way ball valve is opened and closed by a switching circuit, and a set of source position signals indicating that the valve is fully open and fully closed is output.
Wiring instructions of electric 3 way ball valve:
1.Terminal 1 is connected to the power supply neutral wire;
2.When the power phase wire and terminal 2 are connected, it is “open” operation, and the travel switch OLS is stopped;
3.When the power phase wir and terminal 3 are connected, it is “shut” operation, and the travel switch CLS is stopped;
4.When the power phase wire is connected to the terminal 2 and the “open” operation is in place, the “full open signal” indicator connected to the terminal 4 is illuminated;
5.When the power phase line is connected to the terminal 3 and the “off” operation is in place, the “full close signal” indicator connected to the terminal 5 is illuminated.
2.B Type—On/Off with Potential-free Contact Signal Feedback
The 3 way electric ball valve is opened and closed by the switch circuit, and a set of potential-free position signals indicating that the valve is fully open and fully closed is output.
Wiring instructions of electric 3 way ball valve:
1.Terminal 1 is connected to the power supply neutral wire;
2.When the power phase wire and terminal 2 are connected, it is “open” operation, and the travel switch OLS is stopped;
3.When the power phase wir and terminal 3 are connected, it is “shut” operation, and the travel switch CLS is stopped;
4.Terminal 4 is a potential-free contact common end;
5.When the “open” operation is in place, terminal 5 outputs a “full open signal”;
6.When the “shut” is in place, terminal 6 outputs a “full close signal”.
3.C Type—On/Off type with Opening Signal (Potentiometer Resistance) Feedback
The electric 3 way ball valve is opened and closed by a switching circuit, and a set of resistance signals (1KΩ or 500Ω) corresponding to the opening position is output.
Wiring instructions of 3 way ball valve electric:
1.Terminal 1 is connected to the power supply neutral wire;
2. Terminal 5 is the potentiometer boom;
3.When the power phase wire and terminal 2 are connected, it is “open” operation;
when the power phase wir and terminal 3 are connected, it is “shut” operation.
4.Terminal 4 is the high end of the potentiometer. When “shut” is running, the resistance between terminals 5 and 6 increases as the electric 3 way ball valve opens;
5.Terminal 6 is the high end of the potentiometer. When “shut” is running, the resistance between terminals 5 and 6 increases as the 3 way electric ball valve closes.
4.E Type—Intelligent Regulating Type
The built-in intelligent valve controller can receive signals such as 4-20mA signal and 0-10V voltage. It can be linked with various control systems such as PLC and DCS computer.
Wiring instructions of electric 3 way ball valve:
1.The “N” of the power input end is connected to the neutral wire, and the “L” is connected to the phase wire;
2.The “+” of the “external control” end is connected to the positive pole of the input signal, and the “-” is connected to the negative pole of the input signal;
3.The “+” at the “feedback” end is connected to the positive side of the output signal, and the “-” is connected to the negative side of the output signal.
5.F Type—DC On/Off Type with Potential-free Contact Signal Feedback
The “on” and “off” operations of the 3 way electric ball valve are achieved by switching the positive and negative polarity of the external DC power supply.At the same time,it outputs a set of potential-free contact signals indicating valve full open or full close.
Wiring instructions of electric 3 way ball valve:
1.When terminal 1 is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, when terminal 2 is connected to the negative pole of the power supply, it is “open” operation;
2.When terminal 1 is connected to the negative pole of the power supply, when terminal 2 is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, it is “shut” operation;
3.Terminal 3 is a potential-free contact common end;
4.When the “open” operation is in place, terminal 4 outputs a “full open signal”;
5.When the “shut” is in place, terminal 5 outputs a “full close signal”.
6.G Type—AC380V Three-phase On/Off Type with Potential-free Contact Signal Feedback
The 3 way electric ball valve is controlled to open and close through switch circuit and a set of potential-free contact signals indicating that the valve is fully open and fully closed is output.
Wiring instructions of electric 3 way ball valve:
1.The terminals 1, 2, and 3 are connected to the three-phase AC power, and the forward and reverse rotation of the motor is realized by an external inverter circuit;
2.Terminal 4 is a common end of the external control circuit;
3.Terminal 5 is “open” operation control;
4.Terminal 6 is “close” operation control;
5.Terminal 7 is a potential-free contact common end;
6.When the “open” operation is in place, terminal 8 outputs a “full open signal”;
7.When the “shut” is in place, terminal 9 outputs a “full close signal”.
